Getting Involved with SCRET
SCRET is always looking for assistance with ongoing projects. There are many ways for everyone to get involved and to provide support and you don’t have to be a technical diver to contribute.
Potential opportunities for involvement with SCRET:
- Provide funding and sponsorship for SCRET activities
- Join SCRET through a small annual contribution of $25 (visit www.scret.org for details)
- Assist with research on the history and location of wrecks such as the Multnomah or Andelaina by visiting libraries and museums
- Assist with web development (content, publishing, editing, etc.)
- Provide video and still editing of surface and submerged activities
- Provide surface support for SCRET dives (gearing up the divers, boat logistics, coordinating surface activities, etc.)
- Support the deep teams as a safety diver (requires GUE Tech 1 training)
There are many opportunities for everyone to participate in the submerged history of the Pacific Northwest
