Gas Standards and Protocols

SCRET has very strict gas standards and protocols for its divers. These standards were developed over time and enacted to provide divers with increased safety margins.

Guidelines for gas mixtures:

• All dives have an EAD (equivalent air depth) of 100’. An EAD of 80’ is preferred. NO DEEP AIR!
• Working dives will not exceed a PPO2 of 1.2
• Decompression will not exceed a PPO2 of 1.6

• All decompression profiles are calculated using DecoPlanner® software
